Claiming that the criticism of a person, ideology or business that happens to have originated amongst the Jewish population as anti-Semitic is denying the right to be an arsehole to all Jews and that is discriminative and ant-Semitic.
Hmmm I think Netanyahu is a facsist Thug..does that make me anti semitic?
@Charlene Not in the least, Zionism is extreme national so even if it is not fascism it is only a hop, skip and a jump from it, Netanyahu is a thug regardless of his religion, he is also a populist and appeals to base instincts such as prejudice and fear. He is basically tRump with a little more acumen and even less of a conscience.
So no, I think you are simply being accurate.
Yes. I break it down this way:
You would be wrong...
YOU'RE the guy who said ISRAEL doesn't have a right to exist...make up your mind! WHO is really the anti-semite here?
@Bungaloebob My comment was about the three ways anti-Jewish sentiment should be broken down. I'm well aware Charlene is not anti-semite. I'm not either but I detest Zionism and International Zionism.
Israel, by not embracing a two state solution now, is ensuring the death if its "jewish" state within 50 years because of the growth of non Jewish, legal Israeli citizens who can vote. Most non Jewish voters would move.
Indeed. I think it's when the term "Zionist" gets used that things start to become ambiguous.
People forget that you don't have to be Jewish to be a Zionist and many Jews are not Zionist, it is a political ideology not a required part of Judaism
