There is a great urban legend about Neil Armstrong.
Apparently after the one small step announcement as he set for on the moon, Armstrong can on recording be heard to mutter "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky" as he took his first steps.
For years it was debated who "Mr. Gorsky" might be and during the writing of Armstrong's biography it was discovered the Gorsky family lived next door to the Armstrongs during Neil's childhood.
Their grandson related to the biographer that his grandfather had been fond of relating the story that Neil must have overheard his wife yelling at Grandpa out of the open bedroom window on various occasions that she would perform oral sex for Mr Gorsky when
" that damn kid next door walks on the moon"
Hence
"Good luck, Mr. Gorsky"
