It was a silly myth put about by the Hermetic order of the golden dawn in the late 19th century that an inverted pentacle ceases to be the sign of the sacred feminine and instead becomes the emblem of the Goat of Mendes or the Sigil of Baphomet.
It is bollocks if for no other reason than the portrait of Baphomet drawn by archmage Eliphas Levi in 1854 that is even today taken as the symbol of the church of Satan has the Pentagram (not pentacle) on it's forehead the other way up.
