2019 is a year I have taken my resolutions seriously.
For one thing I have pretty much given up on my favorite past time of nude swimming with bow legged women. Too cold right now anyway...
And I have come around to inner reflection and the search for serenity (and sobriety).
Although I have embraced mindfulness discipline, I have done so warily the way a lifelong meat eater views a vegan diet. I know it is healthy but does it taste good?
It is yielding some insights that may sound specious to others but seem valid to me.
For one, today I have pondered a concept that seems to fit me across my life.
To wit:
"IT DOES NOT MATTER IF A MAN'S HEART IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF HIS HEAD IS UP HIS ASS. "
I often resemble that remark.
Just sayin...
A cranio-rectal inversion, though not fatal, is a more common affliction than most men care to admit.
Why in the world would you give up skinny dipping with bow legged women, except by court order?
Too cold

Not as bold
Sobriety is for quitters. Everything in moderation. Even moderation.
Occasionally I look at a person and think they are ignorant. Then they open their mouth and remove all doubt.
@GnosticLove apparantly no sense of humor as well...
Well said. I'm a sober person too. Mindfulness is harmless.
