In response to the suggestion that the local state parliament cease to say the Lord's Prayer each morning I wrote the following Agnostic's and Atheist's daily statement for use in a supposedly secular country.

I will be delighted to read other's versions or suggested improvements to my own hurried suggestion - please @evidentialist, @WordyWalt, @irascible, @Triphid, @BeeHappy, @Marionville, @Ailurophile, @Hankster start the ball rolling -

An Agnostic and Atheist daily prayer?

May other's gods deliver their believers into everlasting enlightenment
For there is only the God that they each create between their ears.
Their God is used to control the thoughts beliefs and behaviours of family, friends, strangers and to create enemies.
Gods are created to relieve people of the burdensome truth that there are no deities.
With this enlightenment will be the beginning of intelligence,
Used for the benefit of all, not just the selfish stupid individual and
Thus all will prosper in Health, Peace and Fulfilment for the time of their natural lives.
Now and forever unto the end of all time.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the days business, let us remember we are here for the good of the people who elected us and so let us try not to behave like corrupt assholes, bigots or fuckwits for the next hour or so.
NOW let's get to work.

I certainly am not one to tell another how to live their life, to each is own so to speak.
But I don't really see the point in making some ritual about my non-belief.

That's going to go over big with theists and of course be embraced wholeheartedly, but I do like and totally agree with it.
