I know this guy who always says (including on the greeting on his voice machine) "make it a great day!"

Irritates the shit out of me, and probably a lot of other people.

I have one of those FitBit wristbands. I put it on each morning and it greets me with messages like "Today's the day", "You got this", "Hey there", "Let's go" and sometimes I want to smash it with a ballpeen hammer. Particularly in that this is always before my first cup of morning coffee.

However ... I try to take such wishes in the spirit they are probably intended. So ... you, too, dude.
