On men, yes. On women, mostly no. But, I would never say never. LOL.

Beard in the winter (A natural face warmer because I deal with the elements). The rest of the year might be a goatee or baby faced.

yes! or goatee

it really depends for me. some guys can pull it off, some can't

I can't pull my beard off. That would fucking hurt.

I disagree that beards are like "push-up" bras. We cannot help but grow hair on our face. Well, most of us.

I grew a beard once, and only once will I grow a beard. It's the worst. It's hot, stuff gets in it, if you don't groom it, sometimes for long periods of time, it will look like utter garbage, and in general it just isn't worth it past a certain point -- IMO.

I think (and feel free to tell me I'm wrong) that women are attracted to facial hair by nature, big strong men with hair on their face are more likely to protect their offspring. Genes and such. Past a certain length, though, I think every centimeter becomes less attractive. As women get older (and no longer feel the call of bearing children), or just never feel the need to bear children, the attractiveness to facial hair probably diminishes some. That's not true of everyone, just my observations as a heterosexual male. It's all about makin' babies.

Attractiveness out the window -- I can't really judge that for men anyway -- I'm judgmental on both fronts. Too long is gross. Certain clean cut short styles are trashy (fucking line beards, man).

IDK, I keep a stubble. I have a round face that's (in the opinion of most of exes) better framed by having some facial hair. While I again disagree with the push-up bra thing (as a beard is natural, and therefore just part of how you look), it does help hide the fact that full baby-face me looks more childish.

EDIT: Women that do appreciate beards, I need you to understand that the entire reason men keep beards in the modern world is to impress women. Well, it's the biggest reason, anyway.

I take it you have been sheltered from extreme conditions.

@Holysocks ???

The best thing about being the primate that evolved is our use of tools. You don't need a beard to keep your face warm when it's cold or windy outside. We have things that do that for us.

@Xuande
I rest my case.

@Holysocks I don't get where this is coming from, but alright: Let's play this silly game.

If you'd been in the extreme cold, you'd know that beards are negligble when it comes to keeping your face warm compared to something like a balaclava. And when you need to eat, you can just take a facemask off.

Not only that, but extreme cold is not good for your beard. Your beard will freeze, your hair will dry out, ice water from your frozen beard will leak down neck and risk saturating bags/tools/etc. All that while damaging your hair.

In the olden days men used to put their beards in goddamn sacks for the winter, and anyone working outside will tell you even today that if you're working outside in these extreme temperatures, you need to cover your beard, with at least a scarf.

I rest my case.

Goatee seems to be a nice counterbalance to my chrome dome. ?

Love beards! I did not think I cared for my husband's until he shaved it off. Then I wanted him to put it back...

What constitutes "attractive" changes with the times. Right now the style seems to be 'Business up top, party in the basement.'

Neither of these looks turn me on!

Yeah yikes!

In general its a No....but a bit of manly stubble is okay. These things go in cycles of course, they are in fashion again....so are everywhere at the moment, they will go out of fashion again, and something else will take their place...whatever fashion dictates!

To each their own. Just measured mine. About 7". That's longer than my... I'll tell you when your older. I have had random gals come over and play with it. Imagine if I were to walk up to a random gal and play with her knockers? I have also had random girls ask me if they can brade it. I say yes. If you ask it's not an issue. Plus when I did security my looks would scare the shit out of people!

I think that comparison is a bit off. Maybe play with her hair like she's playing with yours? I mean if we'd been discussing handling scrotums, the breast fondling may be appropriate....

@Freespirit64 Still unwanted touching. Regardless.

I usually focus on the man attached to the beard.

If the beard is so large that I can't see any of the man, then no to the beard.
