How do you feel about the recent "sexual or unwanted touching" accusations against former Vice-President Joe Biden by these last 4 women? Do you feel Joe made an innocent mistake while hugging or touching his former female political supporters or friends?
I'm a bit torn here. On one side none of the women felt threatened or coerced in any way but on the other side no one should touch another without their permission. Personally I believe he is just an affectionate man - to both women AND men. Poor guy is caught up in the me too movement. He is a product of his time and he is not afraid to display affection (unusual for a man his age). Personally I like him but I don't want him for POTUS. It's time for new blood in American politics but if it's a choice between him and the flaming cheeto turd you can bet I'll be behind Biden 100%.
Great point! I always try to give him and people the benefit of the doubt!
One of my old students worked in the Obama White House and she is livid on Face Book about the accusations. She always spoke well about her time working for "President Obama" And "Joe." She currently works for our, Pennsylvania's, Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, a smart, badass looking liberal who saved a dying city as mayor And smart. I'd love to see him speak at the convention.
As we've learned over the past few years, proper etiquette is to grab them by the pussy.
It is sickening the things the repugs get away with.
And our people get blasted for putting a hand on someone's shoulder.
Make no mistake the filthy swine have manufactured evidence ready to go against ALL of our candidates.
None of the women said they felt sexually violated. By the way, It isn't an accusation if everyone agrees it happened. Some people (not just women) are uncomfortable when other people invade their personal space. Joe is a demonstratively affectionate guy. There are worse things. Finally, if you can't handle uncomfortable, you can't handle life much less leadership. Suck it up buttercups or the Tangerine Tyrant will inappropriately grope your electoral aspirations in 2020.
I believe he touched them innocently! I believe he was within the norm of his generation and the social norms have changed over the past 30 years with men hugging women. Are we overreacting to what former Vice-President Biden did in touching or hugging these women? What an unfortunate situation for V.P. Biden and these women. I am sure President Donald Trump is getting a "kick out of this".
Lee Scott's personal opinion on Vice-President Joe Biden.
Just because it may have innocent intent and he's a product of his generation and times have changed is not an excuse. Times have changed in the fact that women finally got sick of not saying anything when somebody creeped on them and made them feel uncomfortable with inappropriate touching. Ask a woman his age if they enjoyed it back then either. Times have changed is an excuse, and a very poor one at that. The times change and we have to change with them. You don't Eskimo kiss strangers (associates, which is even more unprofessional).
