Under what circumstances do you feel a sense of peace?
For me, it’s when I’m gazing at the stars while most people are sleeping. I feel a sensation of freedom and tranquility. Regardless of the country or circumstance, the stars have always been my refuge.
Camping on a beach, night time - a fire, a smoke, and looking up at the stars, while the salt air surrounds me. Absolute bliss!
I agree , the moon gives me calmness . Because my boys are older and living in another state , I can look up and know we’re all looking at the same moon ...
suppose it comes from living them to the moon and back saying ...
Watching pro mod drag cars going down the quarter mile.
As often as possible, I get up before dawn and take my dog out to a nearby state park. I am most at peace sitting there by a lake watching the sun come up over the water, or walking through the woods. But really, I like early mornings no matter where I am. I love listening to the world wake up.
Ditto, but with crickets chirping in the background.
@SACatWalker No, they're still around! I see them once in a while in the warmer months.
@SACatWalker Will do
That moment when falling asleep and I'm directy in between sleeping and being awake. It's a very relaxing and peaceful feeling. Also when just staring out into nature when it's mostly quiet and there's a gentle breeze. No distractions. Not even other people.
In the woods, surrounded by trees, when with horses, looking at the stars
PS I'm in the desert I have a panoramic view and it is majestic
I bet, but sand gets in everything. I live in the greenest desert on Earth, Tucson, AZ.
Like wise they never change they will always be there no matter what's going on in my life- I see Luna and am comforted by this natural stability- I always found grate comfort in a clear night sky- one of the reasons I couldn't figure out why heaven would exclude shadows and darkness- if what I loved was supposed to be there how can I have that I could never fathom having to live an eternity living with out the parts of my life that gave me Solis- one of the reasons I questioned my religion
