This must be in the US.
Pretty much the same goes with the Aussie system as well when they 'work out' our land values and land rates.
@Jolanta Oh yeah, the Lib-Nats always vote for Tax Cuts for their 'Big End of Town' mates and the average worker, etc, gets S.F.A. BECAUSE the system is set up that way, i.e. the HIGHER your Income = the greater percentage tax cut you get, where it SHOULD REALISTICLY be ther HIGHER the Income = the less of a percentage cut you receive and the lower the income the greater the percentage you receive.
As for Labor under Bill Shortonballs, they are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, they couldn't find their way out of wet paper bag even with a road map and GPS system.
Labor once, many, many moons ago that is, stood up for the Workers, Families and the Average Peoples but these days I think of them as being the Amateur Liberal Party.
The Greens are just hopeful hangers-on who, going on a few of the past performance would, imho, sell their Grandmothers IF the price was right.
It seems to me, and numerous others I've spoken with over the years, that EVERY time the Libs-Nats get into Federal Government or State Government their first and most immediate task is to re-draw the boundaries of the Voting Constituencies to suit themselves for future elections based on the numbers of favourable votes polled by Lib-Nat voters and then they simply pour in money for 'Infrastructure.' etc, to further ensure their voting status whilst anywhere further west/east/north/south ( depending upon which State you are in that is) of the 'coastal zone, i.e. 600-700kms west, etc, gets little more a few miserable crumbs, IF anything at all.
The entire Westminster based 2 Party Electoral/Government System has an odour that can only be described as being reminiscent of a Dockyard Whorehouse at a very LOW tide.
@Triphid And nowhere there did you mention anything about what they voted on or what their policies are of any of those parties. Only whining did I read. Look at the policies, don't read the papers or listen to the television. Make yourself familiar with their policies and what they voted for so far and you will find some that will suite you more than others.
