Me buying new work pants, wearing one of my only two pairs that I have which are both 3 sizes too big and stained: ugh I feel so wrong these are so much money it hurtsssss to spend money so frivolously....
Me, at ulta, buying 2 lipsticks I didn't need when I wear make-up like 3 times a year, for the same price as two pairs of work slacks: IT'S CALLED SELF-CARE KAREN I NEED THESE IT'S OKAY TO SPOIL YOURSELF SOMETIMES
Lipstick makes me happy! Work clothes, meh......
You did the right thing!
Yep. I hate spending good money on work wear. I buy it in black as a sad, teenage form of protest.
I still wear clothes that I had in hs! Not joking. The sweater I am wearing right now I bought in HS.
Lol men tend to be luckier that way more often than women
@LadyAlyxandrea That was back when the "baggy" things were in style. So I'd buy jeans that were about 3 sizes too big. You could laugh at me all you'd want back then, but I still wear them! The sweater I am wearing has some tatters on it. some pants can't be repaired. But i saved a lot of money by not having to buy clothes! I'm a farmer, so I don't care if there is a few tears. i don't have to go to work with a tux1
@TheGreatShadow I'd just be happy if I could wear jeans to work ughhhh jeans are so much better than slacks more durable and easier to clean and match everything and are always weather appropriate lol
@LadyAlyxandrea I've recently got addicted to cargo pants! Comfy, and you can fit everything (possibly the kitchen sink) it those!
@TheGreatShadow when I worked at McDonalds the possibly only benefit to it was they had the BEST cargo pants ever as part of my uniform. The fit was amazing they looked great, the pockets were handy and REAL (women don't usually get pockets they're a luxury even on our cargo pants) and they were comfortable as hell. Man I miss those pants
But come on I'm totally rocking this color AND it's avengers limited edition sold out EVERYWHERE ELSE how could I not?
I'm such a fucking easy target for capitalism
@Donotbelieve I feel you. I hardly classify myself as girlie either, mostly for lack of ability. I only got into make up just as my hands started to go so I never got good at it, and I only wear it rarely, but occasionally I enjoy it when I can manage it.
And I put this lipstick tester on and immediately went "I WAS MADE FOR THIS LIPSTICK"
I honestly didn't expect to pull off such a bright red but damn it works
