I’m sure the Palestinians deserve everything that’s shot at them. Hell they don’t even recognize Israel's right to exist.
Those are actually not illegal. They're also referred to as hollow points, and are actually preferred as home defense ammo because they are less likely to go through sheet rock and hit somebody in the next room, where a solid, full metal jacket (FMJ) will easily go through sheet rock (even through many layers) without breaking apart and possibly hit an unintended target.
I'm sure the IDF's main concern is shooting an unarmed person through sheetrock accidentally. Yup, gotta be tops on their list of concerns.
Whether they are legal or not depends on the way they are used, and the reason for their use. Israel has no justification for their use, least of which would be their concern for only taking out one person . . . . when they take out children, medics. That would never pass the legality test.
@THHA, @1of5 I'm merely commenting on the claim that they are banned my international law. It's complicated, but The Martens Clause blurred the lines to the point that it was rendered pointless. [alloutdoor.com]
But more to the point, Palestinian protestors are not military combatants. Ammo is ammo, it's going to mess you up regardless.
@Captain_Feelgood I was merely pointing out how silly it seems to be worried about hitting an innocent person by accident instead of the innocent person you're shooting at, is all.
@1of5 Are you equally concerned for the innocent Israeli civilians hit by Palestinian bullets and rockets?
@Captain_Feelgood why wouldn't I be?
I'd like to reply to that question. NO, and thrice NO. If someone comes to your home and tells you that GOD has granted the land it is on, and your house to them, and that you have to move out as a result, you will just let them do it, right? FUCK ISRAEL, and every one of the people who stole the land based on some fake claim that the land was theirs. Israel and its people are the TERRORISTS. These assholes had every opportunity to live peacefully with the Palestinians, but chose to take the RACIST path, and claim that their "nation" had to be strictly Jewish in nature, and started removing Palestinians from their land. It was racism from the get-go with them, and if they get shot at or targeted by rockets, they themselves are to blame.
@THHA Interesting... I've always read that the Jews were there first. [en.wikipedia.org]
If it were "interesting" to you, you would know already that that is a lie. And, even so, since you claim that to be the case, are you willing to move out of America, based on the premise that you just cited, given that the American Indians own the land you live on?
@THHA Then you obviously are privy to some credible info I haven't seen. Would you mind posting a link here for me? Much appreciated.
I will provide the said link, after you answer the fucking question . . . . You claim that to be the case, are you willing to move out of America, based on the premise that you just cited, given that the American Indians own the land you live on?
@THHA Sure... I plan on moving back to Scotland anyway... So by all means... let's see your source.
[en.wikipedia.org] See that you take all your relatives with you, this is Indian land. Problem with your resource is that you probably looked up "Ancient Israel" or some bull shit like that. . . . . before that, it was known, in ancient times, as "The Levant".
@THHA TeeHee... yeah.. your link there proves my point. The United Monarchy (Hebrew: הממלכה המאוחדת) is the name given to the Israelite[note 1] kingdom of Israel and Judah,[2][3][4] during the reigns of Saul, David and Solomon, as depicted in the Hebrew Bible. This is traditionally dated between 1050 BCE and 930 BCE. On the succession of Solomon's son, Rehoboam, around 930 BCE, the biblical account reports that the country split into two kingdoms: the Kingdom of Israel (including the cities of Shechem and Samaria) in the north and the Kingdom of Judah (containing Jerusalem) in the south. In other words, there was no such thing as a Palestinian back when the Canaanite-Phoenicians, and the Israelites were the first ones to move into the area in the early Bronze age. So yeah, The Jews were there before there ever was anything even remotely called Palestine even thought of. But hey, thanks for trying.
And out of curiosity, are you of European decent? And if so, are you going to move back to Europe? And for the record, my Grandmother on my Mom's side was half Cherokee, so I guess that makes me 1/8 Native. So I guess I get to stay anyway.
Sure, sure, it proves your point, IF you ignore all the other cultures mentioned BEFORE 1050 BCE, so again, it is nothing more than fabricated lies.
By the way, based on your premise, you should be busy packing your shit and getting the hell out of America, since you are not of PURE BLOOD, and the Indians should be shooting exploding bullets at you. I am not the one who claimed that who owned the land at the start (Even though it is a lie!) was the rightful owner . . . so start packing your shit . . . .
@Captain_Feelgood ,
an israeli scientist showed in a study that most of the jews there are descended from east european jews who have little or no ME dna.
