@birdingnut @1of5 @Benthoven Islam apologists and regressive leftists typically minimize CURRENT Islam atrocities, citing historical actions of other ideologies. There is nothing we can do to prevent or reverse historical events.
There are, however, actions we can take to curtail the atrocities which are happening today. Using historical events as an excuse not to act is irresponsible and intellectually lethargic.
I think the outrage is that any cult can enforce its ideas across any country. But a cult in one country has no authority to impose its views onto a cult in another country.
Both religions are equally vile and cruel. Both use religion as an excuse to slaughter people and take their land.
Yes, and I also think of "christians" who try to say we don't do it any more and yet George Bush said "god" told him to invade Iraq.
Anyone who states that any other religion is as evil as Islam is in deliberate denial of current world events.

@PBuck0145 So, you've never read the history of the US and their genocide of millions of Native Americans. Or read about the Spanish Inquisition, or the Crusades, etc.
I am as outraged by the mosque attack in New Zealand, the synagogue attack in Pittsburg.....
People being killed for any kind of personal belief...
There's plenty of outrage. It's right there with the Christians who murder others for not accepting their version of God. It's horrible, and ugly, and suggests that unless we get rid of the Big-Three Gods (Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah), incidents like this will only increase.
You mean like when xtians would kill people for not converting? Still outraged over that, thanks.
All religions are fucking barbaric remnants of a (thankfully) bygone era and there is very little they do that doesn't outrage me.
What he said..
