This is a letter from Trump to a Texan pastor, someone I know and have worked with.

So much for separation of Church and State.

This pastor runs a “positive” church. Having been to one of his services, I can say that he skips hell and damnation and focuses on love and spirituality. But, he still tells his followers that they are “incomplete” without Jesus and cannot find happiness without God.

This is at least marginally relevant: As a largely patriotic English person I have never sung our national anthem (God save the queen). Even back in the day when I was a believer I always thought - Why does the queen need saving more than anyone else? Now of course just the mention of god makes no sense.

He may have signed it but you know that ninny didn't write it.

He didn't even sign it. It was written by an aide, and it was signed with an autopen.
