I know it sounds weird, but I've been thinking a lot about my funeral lately. And I want it to be fun, you know? I don't want people to be sad and crying the whole time. Seriously, I don't care. I plan t o donate my body to science or a medical school. I dont' wnat a funeral where some religious official who never knew me gets up and talks about me

Me, I don't care what happens at my funeral, as I won't know one way or the other. I'll be dead! Funerals are for the living, and if my evangelical family members want to do the church thing, I don't care. The post below about donating my body to be used in some positive way is pretty cool. I once said that I want to be ground up and fed to a flock of chickens. I have consumed so many of them throughout my life, I figure I could payback a little.

Two days ago, I filled out papers to donate my body to the University of New Mexico Medical School, Albuquerque, so that when I pass away, my loved ones won't have to deal with my body.
It will be picked up for free and contribute to furthering medical knowledge.

I also filled out a free online last will and testament document that stipulates a party at my passing, instead of a funeral. No religious stuff, and activities and food/wine depending on age and preferences of people who attend my good-bye ski party, or whatever.

Sorry, no priest, no funeral, no speeches. I donated my body to the University of Rochester Medical School.

There won't be a priest at my funeral. I am not having one.
