I try not to disagree, but sometimes I have a different take on a topic and like to share it, which hopefully can bridge a gap, or create clarification. For the most part, I just don't comment on posts that I vehemently disagree with. I'd rather better my understanding on topics that interest me.

That's human nature. There's nothing you can say or believe that is not bound to trigger people agreeing and opposing you. Even in matters you think everybody has to agree you will find someone opposing you. And that applies to agnostics, atheists and believers in whatever...

I think it brings to attention how we really have to select our words more carefully since there is no way to read emotions, tone, facial expressions, etc.
