Noticed something, or a lack of something. Ok, this might just be me not seeing things, so take it with a grain of salt. Ever notice how so many religious fanatics seem to blame things like hurricanes and earthquakes on the wrath of their god? They don't also blame the recent spate of bad weather in the US that has been ripping up the states considering implementing religiously fueled laws on their god. I wonder why that is? Almost makes one wonder if there is some other motive behind their blame game or something like that.

They are mentally ill. There are no rational explanations for their behavior.

If you can get publicity for a scary pronouncement, you can get $$$$$ from the gullible. Period.

It's only the wrath of God if it's happening to someone else.

6

Don’t you just hate it when reality fucks with your religious agenda?

6

It's their indoctrinated ignorance of the natural world. They actually believe their god has it's hands in everything. We've all heard that crap before.

5

Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Theist's say that natural disasters are god's wrath against 'merca's sinful way or turning against god but never consider that it might just be god's wrath against theist's themselves turning against god.
ETA: Assuming of course god's actual existence.

The religious folks in the states getting hit with tornadoes are always quick to give their god thanks for sparing them from death. I always wonder why they never blame their god for starting the tornadoes in first place if he has the power to control them.

Well, if it ain’t God doin’ it, who is it then?
😱. You’ll all be sayin’ Moses didn’t part the Red Sea and the donkey didn’t do no talkin’ next!🤥

I've personally heard a lot of asses talk. Those other stories are harder to buy though.

@JimG The sassy talking ass is one of my favorite g-d myths.

@BufftonBeotch me too. Love that one!

The blame game has always had some very backwards rules to it.

It's all selective, attributing things to their god when it conveniently advances their agenda.

I wonder how many have prayed, only to be besieged the next day? That's a story I'd like to see. "God sued for bringing disaster!" LOL!!!

Disasters are all caused by god because of gays and Trump haters. That's why Jesus said that the end times would have wars and rumors of wars. Wait. Haven't we always had these? We will exaggerate it now by throwing disasters as well.

Mental pygmies. I thought it ironic that the 2004 tsunami hit Aceh, the most fundamentalist moslem region of Indonesia, the hardest. Of course, the mullahs complained that it was because they weren't fundamentalist enough. Whatever you do for God he always wants more and the more you do the more he wants.

They cannot conceive of any realistic explanation, and they want to attribute their bigotry to their just and loving god.

Shit if I was god I'd be throwing an endless volley of tornadoes at the bible belt too.

Events good for them and their agenda - God is great.

Events bad for them and their agenda - Satan did it. Or God works in mysterious ways. Or God is teaching everyone a lesson because he's mad, but ultimately loves us. And on and on.

There's probably little to no rhyme or reason. If they possessed any kind of consistent logic or critical thinking abilities, they wouldn't be religious fanatics to begin with.

Using natural events to justify their beliefs

G-d must really hate those people in trailer parks, then.

@Antidronefreeman umm..what? Not camper trailers. These are full size and need a special crew and equipment.

As far back as recorded history can takes us, and probably farther, man has had a tendency to blame the things that cannot be controlled or otherwise explained on the actions of some god/goddess/gods or God. Modern religious believers, particularly those that reject science, are no different.

We haven’t really made a lot of progress, have we?

@Antidronefreeman Huh?

@Antidronefreeman But, what’s the question?

They tend to frame natural disasters as punishment from god because we let the gays get married. These are the mental giants we are up against......

There were fires in my area and I was shocked to find that many people living not too far away were saying it was because of homosexuals living in the area. Not only did I find that idea horrendous, I also found it illogical. Did they really think that their God was going to take out a whole bunch of people who were members of their religion, hence righteous, just to punish a few scattered homosexuals? No wonder they're so afraid of the guy.

@UpsideDownAgain Don't they realise that there are gay people in every area? 🙂

@Gareth Ha, ha! Right?!

It's all God
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."
