America has been moving steadily toward fundamentalism, bigotry, hatred, and violence both domestically and internationally. Psychologically, America has given a pass to the white male 'American' culture of rape, brutal violence, and hatred of any freedom that appears 'different' than their own. Their gender and racial norms are narrowly defined 'acceptable norms.' Bigotry should be called out repeatedly, shamed in the news, prosecuted, whenever any level of attack occurs. The general American public needs to be well educated on which behavior constitutes hate speech, bullying, incitement to violence (including by religious bigots), and bigotry against any kind of minority or marginal individual. America, from the federal law standpoint, really needs to take aggressive action against the very divisive "gender norm" type of bigotry. Otherwise, the ignorant bigotry, fundamentalist hatred, and divisive strategy politics will become more powerful, and will ruin the laws and institutions that protect the laws and all people in America. Otherwise, fascism will get an easy powerful foothold in America, and mostly due to ignorance of how the powerful without conscience take dictatorial control over a divided population.
