If the election was held today, who would you vote for and why?
Warren... She has common sense ideas, explains how she would implement those ideas, and how to pay for those ideas that cost money without hurting the middle class. Our economy is at it's strongest when our middle class is strong. If we are not careful we are going to start resembling our neighbors to the South, when we should be resembling our neighbors to the North. IMO
Mrs Jones of 358 Acacia Avenue because she’s the only honest person I know.
This fall, since I'm a Quebec separatist, I'll vote for the Bloc Québécois and his new leader Yves-François Blanchet. In my riding, the Bloc candidate will probably be Stéphane Bergeron.
(Oh! You mean the elections in the U.S?!)
@Ms_McSteven I'd be glad to help. I live in Saint-Hubert, in the southern suburb of Montreal. I like genealogy too. I worked on my family tree. I went ten generations and about 400 years back, all the way to my ancestors from France.
I would consider Elizabeth Warren, I think the men have f**ked up the country enough
Pocahontas? The women that claimed she was Indian to advance her career? How can anyone take her seriously?
@gater Well, tRump has claimed a lot of things and people voted for him...he claimed he was 1st in his class...he claimed he graduated with honors...he claimed he read Bonfire of the Vanities...he claimed he was friends with lots of people who don't even know him...he claimed he weighs 239 pounds...How can anyone take him seriously after, what, 10,000 lies?
@gater Just a reminder;
"I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian," Trump said. "I have a feeling she will say no but hold it for the debates."
He was WRONG.
On Monday, Warren revealed that an analysis of genetic testing confirmed her distant Native American ancestry.
Trump shrugged off the news and denied he made the big dollar wager.
She told the truth. He's the liar.
@Robecology you can't be serious - Trump said he would give her charity 1 million if she could prove that she was Native American - she proved that she wasn't.
She was less than 0.1% - You can't claim being of a certain Race unless you are at least 30%.
She advanced her career by claiming to be a minority.
@gater Give her a pass on that. My wife had a grandfather who was definitely Canadian/Indian. Her DNA came back with no Indian in her. You get 50% from mother and 50% % from father.. It is possible not to get a specific ancestor's DNA even tho they were in the family.
One thing we learned from the last election, no matter who the people vote for, the orange orangutan gets it's way. The electoral college needs to go. Bigley.
Shit I hope it's not held today. The Left is split 50 ways, while the Right all votes for Trump.
"I don't belong to any organized political party; I'm a Democrat."
