I have died twice, once by strangulation (first hubby) , one from a brain-stem stroke. Anybody who tells you angels sing or you get new purpose in life is Full of Shit! In the first instance, I was terrified & worried about my infant daughter as I passed out.... had a horrible sore throat for several days, and another beating about 24 hours after because I didn't "speak up" in answering him. The second time, I was in a hospital already, and came back to severe pain, lots of disability (some of which I still have30 years later) lost my business, mobility, and control of my intestines.......and felt lucky the entire time as my room was directly across from where they prepared the goo 3x a day for those being tube-fed. Write a book my ass......

lack of oxygen to the brain causes all sorts of weird things...I think she saw what is known to her and not anything new or forward...whatever it takes to get you through the day, I guess...she had a brush with death and this seems a common way to deal with it...

I died. It wasn't anything like that. I was off then I was on. that was all.
