Sadly, with a population split down the middle and the sides getting further away from anything even resembling compromise, the probability of violence is high. If the Trump Republicans take a beating in the election next year, I would look for a large uptick in Right Wing Conservative violence. If Trump wins and screws down even further on ignoring the Constitution, I would look to far Left uprisings and a return to 1960/70 uprisings. Either way, we are in for some rough times.
