My parents have been married 53 years today. It seems like a lifetime and so rare nowadays. I’ve never seen them in a heated argument...they have little spit spats once in a blue moon. If I’ve noticed anything in their relationship, it’s respect and love. I may not get 53 years with the love of my life but I hope that what I do get will stand against time like my parents relationship has.

Mine were married 63, until Dad died. And Mom still wears his ring on her necklace everyday. 
I was not so fortunate.

What a lovely couple! Your parents' marriage reminds me of that of my parents from 1951 until my mother's passing at age 90 in 2014, just a few weeks shy of 63 years of marriage. I wish your parents good health and many years more of marital happiness.
