I wonder what would happen if Twitter banned Trump from posting tweets. Imagine not starting your morning news to one of 45βs tweets.
It's tRumps "mainline" to his followers. Take that away - and he goes nutz.
It's his way of "constantly feeding" his loyalists. A constant stream of garbage... which prevents them from seeking other sources of information. It's crass "marketing". That's why he does it. Get attention ALL the time - so no one else really 'exists' that can match up. marketing.
It would do wonders for the many millions of us with anxiety, frustration, hypertension, etc.
On the flip side, some of his tweets may be evidence of crimes and used against him.
I never watch news in the morning, nor do I ''follow'' that ass on twitter, but I get his crap all over everything anyway......tv, computer, in public, & here on this site! How can a person ignore someone who others cannot stop talking about?
I actually do not watch news in the mornings and my local news does not follow trump's every tweet anyways... win for me No imagination necessary on my part.
That would be the best thing to happen to Twitter since it was created! Government by Tweet should not even be a thing.
But look - No Press Conferences β¦ how convenient..
His nazi followers would burn Twitter HQ to the ground. personally, I feel his own ignorance, as displayed on Twitter, will drive independents away from him.
We can always hope!
@altschmerz Yup, when Democrats would have been tarred and feathered ...occasionally by their own, the ends justify the means for these ugly malcontents..
Would Trump have DOJ investigate and bring charges of some kind, "treason" for example, on the CEO of Twitter?
He absolutely would.
If this ever happened I might consider a Twitter account. I resent that the news media is a non-stop bombardment on everything Trump. I don't give a rat's ass about Trump in any way except that he is the poorest POTUS in our entire history.
Probably, but there have been a few other corrupt POTUS.
@EdEarl yes, but none so dumb and proud of it!
@AnneWimsey He is that.
What if we, the people, would ignore him, not react or comment for a whole week? Would he start WW3 to get our attention?
Would the courts tell Twitter to remove the ban?
Not if they were using their standards as written in their terms and conditions. They haven't bothered to do that with him yet (he drives too much $ making traffic for them)
@RonWilliam53 I know Twitter wants the $. However, the courts may not have that motivation.
