New Netflix series will expose secretive Christian group controlling Washington
[friendlyatheist.patheos.com]
If you take god from American people, they will start asking question and thinking that how they can improve the quality of lives of human being instead of thinking about the life after death, therefore the people will keep thinking and asking question and the top 1 percent will have to tell them bigger lies or convince the people by improving the people's quality of lives, so this is the reason they use the religion and god to keep the mass blind and quiet.
Secretive? The last pole I remember claimed 75% of the Country is Christian.
Though 75% may be Christian, it IS the upper percentage Echelons that ARE the Political Puppeteers whilst the remainder are merely the obedient little religious Lap-Dogs.
@Triphid Soooo,,, the "secretive" Christians are WHERE?
@Captain_Feelgood I've never heard of nor met a 'secretive Xstian' before, they're usual an all out bloody annoying pest that insist on bending your ear and telling all about their Fabulously, Wonderful, Kind, Loving, Invisible, Imaginary God and his son who was in fact his own father and son all rolled into one.
Shit, Xstians are much like bloody ants and flies at a picnic, they are everywhere, get rid of one or two and few dozen more come along to take their place.
@Triphid Exactly,,, and that shows how ridiculous the video is.. The Xtians in Washington are not secretive. Until Trump came along, (he's the one that refereed to 2nd 'II' Corinthians as ""Two Corinthians"" ) They have ALL been Xtians.. I find it interesting how this trailer ends with "Trump, is an imperfect vessel"... Like he is somehow a huge part of this... The man is no more 'hard core' xtian than we are... This is more anti-Trump bias propaganda. Yes, I know they showed Clinton in there, and Kennedy, and even Jimmy Carter, but the emphasis was on Conservative Presidents, and specially Trump at the end.. That's all I'm saying.
@Captain_Feelgood Personally speaking here, I tend to think that about at least 85% of these so-called, self-proclaimed Xstians are little more than Xstians of convenience, i.e. ONLY Xstians when and IF it suits their purposes.
@Triphid Agreed.
Nothing in that publicity release that we don’t know already. Looks like the content is constructed around current public perception and wrapped to look like exclusive exposure.
No better success than a ‘secret’ piece that confirms what you thought you knew. It makes the watcher feel engaged and knowledgeable. What it is actually doing is feeding back to you what you have already been told.
National Geographic, maybe. Netflix, nah!
Always look out for the misdirection.
Not so secret. Since B actor Ronnie made his move with the Moral Majority religion has taken over politics. Religion is the final straw. How the hell do we fight that? Come out as atheists with good moral characters. Raise our families the same. To little to late. Religion has it's grips in so deep the US will never shake it.
B Actor???
@Captain_Feelgood C? He was in a monkey show I think. D?
@freeofgod OH I don't know.. He wasn't that bad really... ultimatemovierankings.com thought he did pretty well actually.

@Captain_Feelgood, I can't remember seeing him in anything.Could be a little before my time. Could be I'm not a big fan of old movies with a few notable exceptions. Hitchcock for one. And To Kill a Mockingbird.
@freeofgod What is sad to me is that you labeled him as a B Movie Actor just because he was elected President as a Republican.. The fact that he had to pretend to be a Liberal all his carrier just to stay working speaks volumes of how bigoted Liberals are, especially in Hollywood.. But yeah, I know.. only Conservatives can be bigots.. Because you know, that's what you were taught..
@Captain_Feelgood I labeled him a B actor because I don't recall ever seeing a movie of his. As I replied above, could be a little before my time. Could be I'm not a big fan of old movies. The only thing I recall him being in was something about him and a monkey.
@freeofgod Ahh.. Well I guess that makes it okay then... You know, describing someone as this or that, when you reaaaly don't know anything about them... GOTCHYA.... And for the record, I find it hard to believe someone over sixty years old in America that didn't grow up in an Amish community never saw any Reagan movies a bit of a stretch... "Could be I'm not a big fan of old movies." I'm younger than you, and I couldn't help but see at least 2 Reagan movies a Month growing up. They weren't "old" movies to us back then.. Sorry, I just don't believe it. But what ever.. Have a good one..
The wealthy and their corporations using conservatism, family values, and religion to consolidated their power over the bought and sold political system used to control us!

Obstructionist republican's and their trump!
Keep in mind that just about anything from video or film production is primarily for entertainment purposes, especially if on an entertainment platform as is Netflix, and I have no reason to think this production would be any different. We all enjoy good entertainment.
That's the primary reason I take info from documentaries with a grain of salt. Most of the time there's always a bias; telling one side of the story instead of both.
The trailer seems to be trying to be entertaining, but I'm not sure how "secretive" the mingling of faith and power in government is. There was really nothing in the trailer I didn't already know. It seems the doc is trying to make it seem like some kind of secret society for dramatic purposes.
