This fellow is one of the great gaslighters of our time. I thought this would only work on small groups, but it appears I was wrong. An amazingly large portion of our population gives the impression that they lack individual control of their mental faculties.

People believe what they want to be true...even when the evidence says something different. We already know this don’t we? Trump is just exploiting this suspension of reality which is already there in his followers...most believe in god too, after all.

I have noticed that abusers use the same methods whether they are trying to control an individual, a cult or a constituency.
