I work in a retirement home. In truth i love my residents - ok, most of them. I've worked there 4 years. Our housekeeping manager (who was hired 5 years ago) just got arrested for stealing jewelry and cash from our residents to the tune of $34,000. (Thats just the stuff they can prove.) Yesterday we had a meeting with residents to break the news. She had been stealing from them for about 3 years. I expected shock (everyone loved her), anger (I'm pissed and she didnt steal from me!) disbelief perhaps. We got silence. Then a voice in the back of the room said "She really needs our prayers right now." It took everything in my power not to storm out of the room. Prayers for a bitch who stole your heirlooms, who targetted her victims carefully (many of our residents are confused or on the verge of dementia) and then pawned your sentimental items and lined her own pockets??? Prayers? I hope she does jail time. I just wish we still had stocks on the village green.

This is why I fight religion in the most visible places legislative prEyer....direct cash from taxpayers to religious frauds....rapist priests protected by 2 living popes....mohels sexually mutilating baby boys muslims mutilating girls scientology stealing life savings from gullible believers....especially people claiming an alleged gawd saved someone in a crash or tornado leaving others dead un prEyed for.....it's child abuse to brainwash a toddler into delusional lifestyles...the thief deserves LIFE IN PRISON for stealing from her brainwashed prisoners needing science care NOT PReYER
