I don't mean to sound like a prick, but when i'm at a restaurant i think its insanely rude to beg for change at my table. Its as if your front door was open and a stange guy comes in while your family is eating atthe dinner table and he asks for change. and the worst part was he was already eating at his table for the day. your not really supposed to give the homeless money because they can drink beer or do drugs instead of buying food at the grocery store. one time this youtuber gave this homeless guy a bag of food and then later he found out the homeless guy threw it in the ditch because he wanted the money instead!!!!. Side note the youtuber didnt make a video about it, he was telling a true story about it. What makes me mad they look at you from for away with a smile on their face and moments later they come up and start begging.
I have mind crippling social anxiety, so every they come up to beg at me it pisses me off because my anxiety is so strong it causes mental pain.
Sounds like a fast food restaurant like McDonald's or Burger King... I've seen it happen in those places...
If you are at an outdoor table that might happen, but even then, the restaurant has power over the area and can eject anyone acting inappropriately. I know of no business that encourages panhandlers.......go to another place, or at least sit indoors if it bothers you so much? Or offer food/beverage (NEVER cash!!!) ........
Do you mean that in the USA , people come into a restaurant and beg for change whilst diners are eating? I live in the U.K. and I have never seen this happen here....I’m sure they would be thrown out or the police would be called by the owner of the restaurant. Begging in public places is illegal under the Vagrancy Act of 1824 in the U.K., although the police mostly turn a blind eye to begging in the streets, unless complaints are made.
@Allamanda Yes Ive had experience of it overseas...but I assumed he was talking about at home,,.he lives in Florida,
It must be while sitting on the patio. I can't see it happening inside the restaurant.
@GreatNani He seemed to be referring to inside.
@Marionville very odd. I have never seen a restaurant that would let that happen.
@GreatNani I wouldn’t have thought so either.
have some compassion
