Imprisonment, job loss and lawsuits plague Charlottesville neo-Nazis - they have suffered miserably after infamous hate rally. - Kudos whoever punished this scum.
Imprisonment, job loss, and outright deportation plagued communists, socialists, and anarchists during the "Red Scares" of the 1920s and 1950s. I'm not so sure persecution of those exercising their freedoms of speech and of assembly are a good idea. Wouldn't it be more logical to simply ignore, or avoid those you have sharp differences of opinion with?
Sorry I can't ignore murderers like in Charlottesville. We need to address the hate from white supremists who will kill like in El Paso -target was Trump's Mexicans.
We need to take a stand in front of these people.
Awwwww poor lickle nazi-ratzis, did du nasty man do it to em den
This will just drive them underground and make them feel more enraged. They are literally a ticking time bomb and we are just seeing the beginning of the explosion. Remember Oklahoma City? That was the last time the so called Nationalists had any power. Now, thanks to the
Internet, they are bigger, more spread out and more dangerous. Weapons they have now were not even readily available back then.
Shaun King was the force behind a massive, online effort to identify the supremacists who committed these crimes. Law enforcement was doing little to find these dangerous men so King stepped in. Here’s one article of many describing his heroic efforts. [washingtonpost.com]
