White Supremacists could be Christian. Some could be Pagans. While others could be Atheist, or Agnostic. Most of the original Nazi hierarchy saw themselves as either atheists, or agnostics.

How does the KKK fit in there?

@rogueflyer The KKK is both White Supremacist and Christian.

1

Religion is often a pilar of tyranny. Think of Putin and the Christian Orthodox religion or the Saudis and their salafist movement.

3

Race and religion is not pizza, none can claim to be supreme!

3

Yes it is. They're not claiming superiority just because of skin colour. They are conflating their colour with their Judeo-Christian heritage which brought about their supposed cultural superiority.

Aren't they against the Jews, in general?

@zesty Yes. That's ironic, isn't it?

No appreciation.

If Jesus really existed, he would probably not even be white!

@QuidamOutrepont It's true. I guess it's a case of conveniently forgetting your cultural origins - both the colour part and the Jewish part.

The term is realistic in terms of the Christians that believe in racial purity, which to me is an outright fallacy. And, I don't believe they are true Christians.

It is an oxymoron, but still describes more than a few sick people.

1

They are the subset of white supremacists.

No term involving anybody being "supreme" is appropriate, since it bears no relation to reality.

3

Yes...because most white supremacists self identity as Christian.

1

Yes. Most white supremacists identify as Christian. Too bad nobody mentioned in the Biuble, other than perhaps the Romans were white.

3

White racist terrorists fit. They are followers of Trump.

According to recently highlighted data from the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) Christians are more likely to say that other Christians acting violently are not true Christians while failing to provide the same latitude for Muslims. In the past, Christianity supported the Crusades and Inquisition. In Charleston, the Neo-Nazis who identify as Christian railed about "Jews will not replace me". Not saying all Christians but certainly, a number do.

It does cover some of the psychos shooting up our country, and it certainly paints the "weaponized Christians" correctly. But, a good portion of the violence is from angry white men who parrot Trump. Who claims to be a christian... maybe Faux Christian White Supremacy is more appropriate. idk... just riffing here.

Christianity seems to be involved in much of extreme violence. Key the KKK.
