Why would an omnipotent and an all-knowing deity use a book to communicate to his followers despite knowing that the language would die and that the book could be misinterpreted?
Because old bastards 2000 years ago did not have a lot of foresight, and writing a book seemed to be a good idea . . . for concocting the biggest bull shit story the world has ever heard, all so they could exist as parasites off of their deception!
Ah, it is all part of God's plan of course.
Exactly what i was thinking haha
IDK? It worked for the Jews. Some people even believe that there really was a King David.
Ah King David... I was at church on Sunday - don't worry, I was working supporting a client with special needs. Anyway, the preacher fellow tells a tale or two about this King David and how he was annointed and chosen, this peaked my professional interest. The description of Davis by his father was a fairly forensic interpretation of Autism. Then with the downfall of Goliath, this appears to have be done by someone else.
I have often said that if there is a god and it wanted to send a clear message about what it wants from us it sure did a poor job of it. It could have easily made sure that all the original manuscripts for the Bible were preserved and clearly written so as to avoid any confusion--well, if it really existed, anyway.
he didnt. each community had a little set of rules and those merged with those from other communities and then were eventually committed to writing and became books.
That still doesn’t answer my questions.God knew they could be misinterpreted and that the language that it was written it would eventually die out.
@averykings there's no such thing as god.
@JeffMesser Don't start! Next you'll be attacking the Easter Bunny. From a Koaka, that's just wrong.
