Wow, I had not seen or heard that...For grins and giggles I joined an online "Wicca" group. Very open minded group of people broadly speaking. I actually joined to learn about the beneficial use of herbs and crystals. I love that part. Okay I also wanted to learn if there was any truth to "spells" actually working. Nothing evil to report as far as I can tell. But I am a newbie and likely not privy to the hidden secrets...yet {giggle} As far as the incantations actually working well, if you believe in the 7 Universal Laws...which tell us that "everything is mind". In other words whatever you can imagine can and will happen with enough belief (ie law of attraction) Make your thoughts goods ones cause Karma will get you and usually she shows up to kick your ass while wearing 4" stilettos.

I saw that. Technically it isn't the church itself as they have no official stand on Potter. It does, however, allow local priests authority to ban books and make such decisions. I find it interesting how recent events have shown Catholics in Tennessee and Kentucky to be near clones of their evangelical neighbors.
