So many of the musicians I enjoyed are passing ,and taking along some of the happiness that came from their music
Really love some of their music. Rest In Peace, Ric
This fun video is my most vivid memory of The Cars from those great old MTV days.
That's the one I remember!
I can remember the songs "Drive" and "Magic".
I loved the Cars and Eddie Money. I won the Cars first album, on a radio station when I was a kid in the 1970's, I also saw Eddie Money in concert in around 2003, he's great.
I saw about Eddie Money right after this and didn't want to overwhelm people. That's a lot of talent gone in a weekend.
I wonder if Radio stations still do that? I'm always listening to YouTube.
I spent time last evening watching The Cars music videos. I really loved their music Ric had an unusual voice that set him apart. Sad. Luckily he passed away in his sleep.
Eddy Money also.... Our 80s legendary memories keep droping like flies....... Makes me think about my own existance
@Corvislover I didn't mean it as a joke....
@IamNobody sorry
@Corvislover Please don't be... I just wanted to clarify. Now it's my turn to say sorry
The world lost a fantastic musical talented human. So sad!
You know all of the hits, but this deep cut is one of my favorites, from "Heartbeat City". A hidden gem:
. . . . .
so sad for ric and the boys. I will be happy to console paulina for them.
Considering she and him separated a year ago, she might not be that sad about it, dunno.
@TomMcGiverin even more consolin for me to do
So that's why the radio in the car kept playing Cars music. Very sad he's gone. He was a great talent.
