Wow! Maybe I should have written that novel after all. My HS English teacher said first write the smuttiest novel that you can, it will sell and you can live off the proceeds while you write your masterpiece. Damn, should have listened to him.

If you've ever read the synonym lists that romance writers use?
It makes me want to publish!
@RavenCT A few years ago I was looking into writing a romance novel, I had some study guides and ideas. I got so sick of what I was writing I stopped. It was just too not real and too not me. Maybe I should have stuck with it. But life moves on and I got into other stuff. If only I could get paid what I need through my other stuff. Or paid a living wage through my other stuff. I can't sell a quilt for the cost and time of making it.
@HippieChick58 I hear that. Making a wage with creative things is rough.
I am always amazed by those who do it tbough.
