Yes. The don’t care that he lied. They don’t care that he committed sex crimes. They don’t care about the MANY despicable things that Trump has done and BRAGGED about. They don’t care about any of it.

Both parties lie, the fact no one really gives a fuck about the lying is what I find truly disturbing. Justifying the lies is a problem also.

@sassygirl3869 Among the members of this site? Well duh.. of course I am.. But not the country..
You disagree that the Republicans knew he lied but do you disagree that Kavanaugh did indeed lie? I'm pretty sure he did lie, watched the hearings. If he had been a liberal and Dems knew he lied it would be the same story. It really is about the lying and no one (read either party)really seems to give a fuck about that.

@silverotter11 You know,,,, actually I don't think he was lying.. There were so many holes in her story you could use it like a strainer. Her own friends from school said it didn't happen. 
His reputation before and after that was/is spotless... I think the only one lying there was Ms Ford.. But hey,, I guess we'll never really know..

@Captain_Feelgood he said she said and everyone was drunk. No we will never know the truth but just like Anite Hill WHY would someone (a woman) subject themselves to that level of scrutiny if something never occurred. Brett's level of anger made me feel he protests too much and that simply could have come from a man who drinks to the point of blacking out and really has NO clue what he could have done.
@silverotter11 Why she would do it is simple. People will do and say things soo far out of whack if it furthers their cause, it's mind blowing.. She thought she could stop a pro-constitution conservative from getting that position, and was willing to lye her ass off to do it. Trust me, I didn't believe Obama either when he said "If you like your policy, you can keep your policy"... Just another lye. 
Of course I agree. Just as if Kavanaugh had been a liberal and all the Dems knew he lied and just didn’t care.

He absolutely lied under oath, and the republicans knew exactly what he was doing, and exactly what they were doing.
Another example of 45 interfering in the process, and breaking the law.
The FBI investigation was hobbled from the start, on multiple levels.
45 directed the entire thing.
He said that he was doing it AS he was doing it. I remember him doing that.
It's documented that he said he was doing it. The republicans went along.
They're going along now.
Every single one of them that are going along with 45, and McConnell, are
guilty.
I remember when republicans weren't such a bunch of hateful, cowardly liars.
I don't think the democrats are that much better, they've got their own issues,
BUT what the republicans are doing goes beyond the pale. It must be answered,
and stopped, in it's totality.

You have the best answer to this question. Parsing out a level to the lying does not make it NOT a lie. At this moment in time the lies are just so completely over the top -beyond the pale, as you state, that doing nothing is not an option.
They knew at the time!!!! And rammed him through anyway....Remember in November !
