My thoughts? Too bad kids can't trade in their parents!

Good article, as someone that gets flu shots every year (I'm in a triple high threat group) I can attest to the effectiveness of vaccines.

Me too. l used to get the flu every year. I haven't had it since I started to get the shots every year.

@Sticks48 After my third bout with flu-bronchitis-pneumonia progression, I learned my lesson.

I think people should vaccinate their kids!!

Having said that, I was only vaccinated once as a baby, in Italy. I've not received a single vaccination, since. I got colds and the flu, chicken pox, measles and mumps as a toddler. As an adult, I've never had the flu and haven't had a cold in 8.5 years. I got pneumonia once, in 2001, after prolonged chemical exposure.

I'm not an anti vaxxer and would get vaccinated if I felt something were necessary. Right now, people cough and sneeze all over me often, especially in winter, while I remain healthy. They've all been vaccinated.

I'm not sure what to make of that.

@ToolGuy

That may be it, but I think there's more to it than that. Maybe people are relying too much on their vaccinations, while they could also be taking much better care of themselves.
