Definitely in the WTF column....guy contacts me on POF, he is about 45 minutes away in Providence RI. We message a few times, i mention a place i love to visit there for coffee and/or gelato, ask him if he has ever been there. He replies, "No, i never go out". Ooookkkaaaayyyyyyyy......

That sounds creepy, but if you can give him the benefit of doubt, perhaps he means he doesn't go out for coffee or gelato, or maybe doesn't go out alone, but might be open to the opportunity if you were to accompany him. Maybe he can share some ideas of places or types of places he does frequent, to get an idea of if he really is a hermit, haha, or just got nervous and shot off a reply that wasn't well thought out.

You know, I tried to give him some rope on this, but he Capitalized the "Never", and it really felt creepy. Life is too short.........
@AnneWimsey Ah, it does happen... kind of hard to get to know someone well enough to meet if they don't really want to tell you anything real.
