have flown in worse ... this one has seats

They had "hostesses" that catered to your every need, more of them than passengers. (Trying to emulate 1st-class luxury liners.) Good safety records too. However, I think some cushions & several layers of mink would be good.

I'll catch a ride any way I can so, yes... I'd fly it!

My scariest ride so far was a 1 eyed pilot flying a 1956 Piper Tri-Pacer trying to land in a 20 knot crosswind. We finally landed on the 7th or 8th attempt. But after the 3rd go-around... I was ready for him to fly low and slow over the Potomac and I was going to jump out. True story!

Anyway... They say you can tell men of iron by the rust in their shorts!

To illustrate the change, I've added a photo of the SpaceX Starhip, not yet flown, that is sitting almost ready for it's first test launch near Boca Chica Texas. It's about 9 meters in diameter (30 ft), 50 meters tall (165 ft) , and weighs about 200 tons (~181,000 kg). When stacked on top of it's booster, they can launch 100 tons of cargo and 100 people into orbit, and take it all to the Moon or Mars, among other places in the Solar system.

Who would want a ride?

"Shades of Flash Gordon"

@t1nick When I was a kid, I'd go to the Saturday morning movie, which had a Flash Gordon short. LOL

A one way ride to Mars. Hmm. Maybe.

Watch Trevor Noah on white slaves on Mars toiling while singing Sweet Caroline.

@Beowulfsfriend

In the 70's there was a porno version of Flash Gordon called, "Flesh Gordon". Hilarious. I remember watching Flash Gordon on tv, a black and white tv at that. Lol

@t1nick I saw it. And in the 60's a tv station ran the old movie serials.

I was pretty young in the 1930s and was quite the daredevil back then.

I'm going to say yes.

You weren't born then lol

@bobwjr She had nothing to lose in 1930.

@bobwjr

How do you know?

No drinking, no smoking and no sun exposure...

It's working!

@Athena then it's working to be so beautiful at over 80years you will look great but not like now

@bobwjr

What?? I'll look even better! Showing signs of a long lived life and surviving the million ways one can die before that??

I love the thought of old age. Bring it!

@Athena believe it

And thus the idea of comfortable seating onboard of planes became just a dream.
