Moderate news sites... Yes, they exist. WTOP radio in Wash DC does a very good job of just reporting the news. When there is slanted commentary they announce exactly what it is and that it is opinion.

Other than that... I need to see it with my own eyes or check multiple sources. The thing about the DC area is that all news is pretty much national news.

The only reliable method is to listen to Trump, then you know what the lie is. Anything that contradicts what he says has a much better chance of being true, no matter how outrageous it might be.

I stick with solid sources to begin with.. Rarely on ‘the cutting edge’ of news, nor feel that’s really necessary ... by the time it reaches ‘my sources,’ it’s been vetted
