Serious and by design. The current holder of the U.S. presidency does not care about the U.S. only cares about himself. He was looked down and rejected by the wealthy families of the U.S. and he is getting his revenge. He will soon get a lot of money for his services and go to live in Russia. Starting a war with Iran would be a winner in so many ways. I fear it will begin as protection for the Saudis even though we sold them billions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art weapons in the last two years. Leaving Syria, was a thank-you you to Putin. Trump's foreign policy benefits only our enemies. Putin is salivating over the disruption of NATO Trump's support of Turkey created.

It would a great deflection by him away from the Impeachment debacle. I wouldnt put it past him to initiate a war just to deflect attention away from himself.

Moving an Expeditionary Air Wing to Saudi would indicate preparation for an invasion.
