Some time ago I ws depressed that my life was basically not going the way I wanted it to. I changed what I was doing. If I felt that I did not want to go somewhere because I was alone, I went. If there was a movie I wanted to see, I went. If there was a group I was intimidated to join, I joined. What happened was a change, a change in the people I found myself talking to, a change in the type of people I was meeting. I moved to a place that was way out of my comfort zone. Basically my life changed almost instantly, I started to meet people, I found a girlfriend, actually several, and I also found the love of my life, Kate. We have been married for over twenty-eight years, it feels much shorter. One cannot change what is happening to them by staying in the same place they are present. I went a little overboard, one does not have to move, but something has to happen so the world can appear differently to you so you will see differently than you now do.
