reminds me of an evening in germany close to 40 yrs ago. myself, my wife & another couple had been out for a nice evening. we had had dinner in a nice gasthaus with excellent beer & wine.
on the way home in my mercedes my friend Hermie, out of nowhere, said "you know sometimes i wonder just what we were put on this earth for".
i had no idea then & have even less of an idea now.
