The agnostic crowd is much more intelligent than the rest!! Sorry, but it is the truth. The religious fanatics have ruined this planet!! So sick of the "it's my way or the highway" crowd. There are just more brain cells here!!! Religions have just caused death and hate!!!
It is true the religious fanaticism continues to wreak havoc on society. I find it ironic that the "more intelligent", "better educated" agnostics and atheists are largely infected by regressive leftists who are tolerant of or are promoters of the cruel, imperialist, totalitarian, theocratic political ideology of Islam.
You forget, many religions express the view that "my way is the highway."
yes, I agree......
Stick around... You'll see... There is a shallow end to this gene pool as well.
you are saying it all........we will not make it as long as dinasaurs.....but like my son in law says.....who is a fanatic evangelic Trumpster......It's all "fake news"......so the dinosaurs never existed.....and we are all gonna be thrown into the lake of fire...The only thing real to him is the Bible........omg....
said the person who double-posted,
Bwahaha, I was thinking the same thing
We’re bigly smarter
And the person that believes in reincarnation (him)... talk about less intelligent! XD
@demifeministgal as if you know anything about the subject. I'd suggest you just be quiet in your ignorance.
@JeffMesser I know there is no evidence in it so why would I believe in it if I don't other religious or woo BS? But I see you believe as he does, so my comment is not for you. XD
@demifeministgal you don't know anything about it other than your prejudice. that's just ignorance. you need to read some viveka material.
@demifeministgal Common sense says lack of evidence doesn’t mean non-existence.
There was no evidence of TV as a possibly for Henry VIII. Perhaps if there was he wouldn’t have got so bored!
@Geoffrey51 By that logic, we might as well believe in big foot and the lochness monster and other folkore and myths and gods like zeus and such because just because we lack evidence doesn't mean they don't exist! That is literally the favourite line used by religious people, especially the abrahamic religious people, to defend their sky daddy.
@demifeministgal the folly you speak of isn't a matter of fairy dragons or pixie dust. we're talking about probabilities in quantum fields that alter the reality we create in our minds. this isn't some mythical bullshit. it's quantum physics and the questions contemplated by Einstein and Hawking and Sagan and so on. So spare me your pseudo-intellectual bullshit unless you actually want to discuss the possibilities that such quantum fields persist beyond the span of our physical body and what the repercussions of that could be.
@JeffMesser LOL Hawking and Sagan and Einstein spoke of reincarnation? Oh really? Care to cite the research papers or any articles where they actually do that?
@demifeministgal you are clueless. move on.
@demifeministgal for my response refer to Jeff Mesner below as my response is the same.
@JeffMesser So basically you have no data/evidence.... Since you like sayings @Geoffrey51 what can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. well then you are dismissed and your delusions can go along with you.
@demifeministgal I don’t think you will find that the line of mythical creatures would be discussed in the Yeshiva.
Judaism is a very intelligent form of Abrahamic religions and would pull apart any uninformed argument you may present purely on rationale and logic, not religion.
If you want a real intellectual conversation I suggest you discuss with a Yeshiva school.
@Geoffrey51 And yet, they would still lack evidence for their yahweh sooo it would just be fanciful fallacious arguments or them deconstructing arguments without providing any substance for their own arguments... they would never fulfill their burden of proof.
@demifeministgal. Regardless of your viewpoint, lack of evidence is not a carte blanche denial of what is not known.
To argue against unicorns, leprechauns and moonbeams in the context of scientific experimentation is puerile petulance.
There are many things not known now that will most likely be commonplace in 200 years time of which we have no inkling, thanks to rigorous scientific thinking and endeavour.
To reduce those practitioners’ work to proving the non-existence of mythical beasts is insulting to the work that is currently being carried out in many fields.
@demifeministgal You would be very surprised as it is unlikely that Yahweh would get a mention.
Just a suggestion if you want to understand more and speculate less.
@Geoffrey51 @demifeministgal awwww, she left. too bad. I wonder what she thought Einstein was talking about when he said "spooky action at a distance"? clueless.
I'd suppose that in some ways we are since we are NOT governed by religious edicts and Church Canons, etc, instead we think for ourselves, decide what IS right and what IS wrong WITHOUT having to be told by some self-appointed, self-proclaimed representative of an Imaginary, Invisible and Totally Non-existent Entity supposedly living above the clouds somewhere.
...and who has told you this? Have the Buddhist and the Indigenous people of the world contributed. How about Taoists and the Jains.
I would be interest to hear who or what are your sources, and what makes agnostics exempt from this grand narrative.
I don't believe in the Bible......but we do exist.....we are here.....and something is making my heart beat.....I didn't make this place....The Universe keeps spinning. It is spinning now and It will continue to spin after I leave here.
