It is not a dumb question I posted it for the group precisely because a group member here was sharing nude selfies he was receiving and it struck me as problematic... but nobody said anything and reports to the senate did nothing so then it got me wondering is it okay then? Isn't it similar to revenge porn? Why did nobody say anything to him about it?

Some of the pictures or videos are stolen or hacked and distributed that way.... and I don't think the solution to a crime is telling people not to engage in given behaviours, but rather, punishing the offendors.
