awesome photos, how far was the hike, I have never been up Mt Pilchuck
Having headed East … I’ve a longtime friend who torments me with magnificent photos of the Oregon Coast.. Familiar as well with the high Cascades - now you are too Magnificent ~
@happyhiker1 Sounds nuts to some, but to this junior geologist, the pending subduction zone quake is why I planted myself where google described is ‘the most geologically stable location in North America.’ I’ve still got family & friends in OR, and am awaiting one or both of my adult ‘kids’ to head this way…
If I moved back, it would be to the east of the Cascades. I’d researched and twice visited Baker City, OR. Corresponded with folks there, followed homes for sale… But what drove me on was it’s tiny growing season. And, the red-neck mentality that dominated.. Really am happy in SW VA, amid the cousins of red-necks ..hillbillies
Some most impressive views, photographic shots...
Thanks for sharing.
Our state has some really awesome geography. Maybe you should hook up with LiterateHiker for a hike.
...and Geology ..if unstable.
We live in a very good place...
Hello, From Ocean Shores!
@PondartIncbendog ...Ocean Shores is a good place...I like it...but considering that Ocean Shores is little more that a sand spit, I wouldn't plan to stay there long-term...it WILL wash away someday...
@seattlepanda I'm not gonna live that long.
@happyhiker1 ...and Westport...
