Do you enjoy your Birthday or is it just another day in the year. For all you Astrologers I know that it is but for the most part this can go either way! Do Anniversaries and Reunions as celebratory and for what reason. I fondly remember the day I was discharged from the US Army in 1969.
Just another day. I rarely get anything, anyways.
Ditto to this day and all the other Hallmark Holidays to include Santa, and the Easter bunny.
I would enjoy my birthday more if I actually did anything out of the normal routine, but it's pretty much just another day to me. The holidays are different because I actually have family gatherings, even though they too have slowed down over the years.
I do celebrate and enjoy my birthday with my family. My mother died at 55 and my father at 46, so I try to make the best of every birthday. I will be having extra special celebrations when I turn 47 and 56.
Once I reached adulthood I tried not to care much about my birthday because no one would plan anything for me and I would get all butt-hurt about it. I have since learned that is just my lot in life - I am at the reigns and if I want to celebrate and have a good time it's on me. Now I plan my own birthday shenanigans and enjoy my day instead of ignoring it.
It was fucking shit this year but normally its just another day.
At 69, soon to be 70, every birthday with my brain relatively working is a Fantastic day & I celebrate, big-time!
I know people who at 35 were having issues. You wear it well which is good for your overall health. I go to the Gym 3X a week and walk 20 miles a week and it tells me how I'm doing.
