Donald Trump is the equivalent of a stupid “one trick pony.” Watch his behavior closely. He has a few stock techniques that comprise almost his entire entire repertoire.

First when he is caught doing something wrong or does something stupid his only response is to do what his first Lawyer taught him. That lawyer, Roy Cohn was a vicious, conscionenceless man who was eventually disbarred for unethical conduct. Cohn’s response was almost always to try to make it so painful for the other party to disagree or accuse that the accuser would not do it again. If Trump was sued, Cohn would countersue again and again, make vicious and scurrilous counter-accusations, scream bloody murder, and play the victim. That is Trump’s sole pattern of response to being caught at doing something wrong, and to disagreements.

In his attempts to make “deals” Trump has only pattern. He hires ruthless negotiators with instructions that they should negotiate in a win – lose manner to extract the best possible deal for Trump (at the expense of the other). Once he has extracted an apparent deal and the other wide has committed its funds, Trump comes back with new demands that cost the other side dearly, backed by the treat that he will back out of the deal if the other party does not concede. He has zero sense of what win-win negotiation means.

When it comes to himself, Trump is pure narcissism. He will always insist that he the best and that what he does is the best that could be called for. When someone disagrees, Trump will attack the disagreeing party with insults, insulting nicknames, or act like he is the victim of a false attack. Even when he feels that someone else is receiving more positive attention than he is, he will try to tear the other down.

These three patterns make up almost the entire operational repertoire of Trump. Why don’t people and media see that and point it out?
