I recently returned from Christmas with friends in NSW.
Given the catastrophic nature of the fires, would you consider church's that are "calling for a day of prayers" and not doing anything else with real world support lost in Indoctrination or simply dispassionate to the pain of "others"?

I would call them dumbfuck idiots.
The prayers obviously don’t work so do something that does like get down to the local shelters and make some practical hands on difference instead of ineffectual, delusional nonsense.
The worst is I suspect if there is suddenly a rain pattern they will credit it to god in his mercy and their prayers rather than a weather pattern!
