Ahh the sweet memory of my childhood preacher shaming me on Facebook for missing church because my parents made me go on a weekend trip with them when I was 12 and had no choice but to go. AND my parents who never attended church with me the 2 or 3 years that I attended there.
The same one that shamed me last week at my nana’s visitation for leaving his church after he called my aunt and told her I was cussing on Facebook. This was before I had access to the internet on my phone & could not delete the post so my mom checked my Facebook and there was no cussing.
Oh the joy I felt telling him I didn’t believe in God anymore. Especially since it was followed by him telling me that even the most brilliant person on Earth doesn’t know where Earth came from because the only thing that makes sense is a “stronger force” because it had to come from something.
His response to me stating that with that theory, God couldn’t have appeared out of nowhere was that “God has always been there”.
Oh how delusional these people are.
