That looks like a good book. I'm going to see if I can get it in epub. I usually do this and let my computer read to me. (I'm lazy.)
A big problem I'm having right now is all those in DNC that claim we do not need to go progressive. Just keep it normal in GOP and DNC politics. It sounds to me like they already know who is going to run against who, and this goes right into Trump being impeached because he wanted dirt on Biden. If we do not shake things up it means the powers that be are causing Trump to be re-elected. Also, Hillary wanted to do it all her way, was so cool and calculating, etc. and apparently not a Bernie fan. Well, Hillary lost!
Bernie IS Jesus! (for our time)
At least he’s the only candidate in sight who actually lives by the values JC ostensibly taught. Those Jews! It must be something in their water.
"those Jews!" lol. I wish it WERE those Jews! But like other groups, we're individuals with some siding with the disenfranchised, others with the privileged. This Jew is with Bernie all the way.
I've been listening to Bernie on the Thom Hartmann show since around 2006 until around 2016, I had a long introduction and have to say he hasn't changed much since he was Mayor, then congressman, then senator. Hillary missed her chance when she didn't take him as a VP on her ticket.
@Aurora62 msg in case you didn't get it :
If you need any info on the process o get elected as a delegate, the senatorial conventions are March 21, the state convention is Dates: Thursday to Saturday, June 4 to 6, 2020
Location: Henry B. González Convention Center
Address: 900 E Market St, San Antonio, Texas.
I've been attending most conventions since 1980 and if you need any help, just let me know. You need to vote in the democratic priary omn March 3, check to see where your senatorial convention is being held. Look on your voter registration form for SD. They should have a bed site and/or facebook page. You want to get elected as either a delegate or an alternate, In all the years I've been going, only one time did I go as an alternate and not get elevated to delegate at the convention
@Aurora62 No, once you vote on the first day, the most important business of the convention is done. The first caucus meeting might last several hours, and depending on if you want to take part in any committees and other votes you are pretty well free to do what you want to. I normally take part in the delegate caucus then if any other of the important are put off, I'll stick around rather than nertworking. There are normally at least several parties each night to give you a chance to get to know futi=ure candidates. You're young enough that it should be a good chance to really develop a foothold in the party. You fill a triple minority slot, so your chance of being selected for positionswithin the party are good. Over the years I've helped many people including my current state rep get elected. Feb 8 there is a breakfact in Ft Worth with LULAC if you're interested I can send you the info.
