Joe Biden's history of gaffs is due to a childhood of stuttering which he overcame. Who knew? Not me. But I am much more tolerant of his misspeaks. His coming out as a former stutterer also makes me respect him more than I did. Any Democrat in 2020 & flip the Senate as insurance against this tyrant we currently live under.

I don't think his gaffs were from stuttering, they seem to be a loss of his thought process and trying to cover up stuff. I'll never vote for him.

I am not voting in the primary. But any Democrat, even Biden over what we endure currently.

@Mooolah Why are you not voting in the Primary..?

@Varn WI was going to vote in the RepuDlican Primary as a protest, but Weld dropped out. I will vote straight ticket for the Democrats as usual. I don't want to jinx the candidate like I did McGovern. =0}

@Mooolah I’m still new to the ‘open primary’ system I’ve found in VA. I’ll vote, but dang ..I’ve not yet made up my mind! And unlike my previous state’s May Primary, this one coming up in March may actually make a difference 🙂

I like Biden, voted for him decades ago in the primary.. He says what he thinks, but at least he thinks. The pre-programmed rote responses of the slickest candidate is often just that - a slick presentation lacking substance or heart. Biden calls it as he sees it.

I know he’d surround himself with competent adults, sincerely consider their advice, and make measured decisions that lead our nation forward. So far, he or Bloomberg will have my primary vote ~

I would not vote for Biden, but if it came down to it I might consider Bloomberg reluctantly ?
Bernie 2020
I think I'm scratching Bloomberg off the list too. I'm getting bad vibes about him.

@Buddha ...four hideously dangerous years and nothing learned? You’d sit on your hands again ..handing the nation over to trump? The current crop of ‘Berners’ I know were all over Obama - twice! ...now they wouldn’t vote for his VP?

It’s ironic.. Lately I’ve been questioned by ..loose friends as to if I’d vote for ‘Bernie’ if he gets the Democratic nomination? Unlike them, I realize the consequences.

That’s what bothers me most with the Bernie-bots.. their lack of understanding of how this nation functions. They are fair-weather purists with unrealistic expectations -- yet ready to dive off the bandwagon when the ride gets bumpy. Anarchists, with momentum 😟

@Varn you must be seeing something in him that I'm not. All I see is a bitter old man that can't complete a sentence. And his policies both past and present aren't good.. why should I be expected to vote for someone that doesnt share my beliefs?

@Buddha Because if you’re anywhere near an Atheist, like myself… you become quite accustomed to voting for those who don’t ‘share your beliefs.’ Doesn't make it right ..or feel good, but it’s doing what you can to keep this nation crawling toward progress..

We need someone with positive name recognition, sad to say. We need someone who can work with the republicans he needs to, not preach a philosophy they refuse to accept. We need someone willing to build on what little Health Care we have, not scrap it in order to promote the unobtainable. We need someone who can remember our government institutions and agencies, then reassemble them. We need someone familiar and respected by our Allies. We need someone voters in the middle understand and trust.

Biden didn’t run against Hillary, I admire him for that. Biden got into this because he felt he had to, not because he wanted to.. Bernie is not practical, Biden is. Slow is the speed we go, not always the speed we like ~

@Varn the way Biden is self destructing, I don't think hell be a problem.

But should he be president?

I will even vote for Bloomberg over the tyrant we currently endure. Biden? Also preferable than you know who.

@Mooolah We were angry about his election, we were angry after the Mueller report, we were angry after the bimbo eruptions, we were angry after the Ukraine whistleblower report.... We have had a lot of anger, hatred, vitriol but nothing, I mean nothing has done any damage to Trump. In fact, it has made him politically stronger than ever before and Trump is now on his way to getting re-elected in 2020. We are in a minority, we are not united, Bernie will not be nominated so his supporters will sit 2020 out, we do not have a single good leader to beat Trump. We are doomed for at least 4 years.

This is not pessimism. This is pragmatism.

@St-Sinner You make good arguments for not picking Bernie. I am not voting in the primary. But straight ticket in the big one. If it isn't Amy then we haven't a chance. She is not Hilary.
